It took until the final doubles match, but the Niagara Falls tennis squad managed to sneak by Kenmore West with a little bit of luck, winning 3-2.

The Wolverines (2-4 NFL) caught a break in second singles when Margaret Kwon won by way of default to follow Isabel Eligino's first singles victory. West's Audrey Filey won in third singles and the Blue Devils (3-3 NFL) took first doubles, leaving the match up in the air for second doubles.

After splitting the first two sets, Madison DalPorto and partner Natelie Manning defeated Kim Kreins and Angela Kazmierczak in a tiebreaker to give the Falls its second league win of the season.

Nia.-Wheatfield 3, Grand Island 2

Liz Barrett and Bri Fiorita won in first and second singles, respectively, and Frannie Viola and Lila Trunzo took first doubles as the Falcons (6-0 NFL) snuck by the Vikings (4-2 NFL) to remain undefeated. Bainab Khawar won a second-set tiebreaker to earn the win in three sets in third singles to lead Grand Island.

North Tonawanda 3, Ken East 2

Gretchen Wringler and Jessica Robins won in first and second singles, respectively, and Carley McClinzie and Marilyn Dryburgh took first doubles, leading the Lady Jacks (1-5 NFL) to their first win. Sarah Crissy won in third singles for the Bulldogs (0-6 NFL).

Lockport 4, Lew-Port 1

Katie Britt and Adrienne Folby won in first and second singles, respectively, and the Lions (6-0 NFL) swept doubles play to remain undefeated. Dionna Moon earned a three-set win in third singles to lead the Lancers (2-4 NFL).

Starpoint 4 Hamburg 1

Paulina Masailo, Jasmine Mott and Gillian Mangani each won as the Spartans (3-0 ECIC II) swept singles play. Jen Pell and Amanda Grant also added a win in first doubles for Starpoint.

Starpoint 3, Ken East 0

Madison Clark had 15 assists, six aces and three kills for the Spartans (3-2) in the 25-17, 25-17, 25-13 non-league win.

Orchard Park 3, North Tonawanda 0

Gabby Hansen's 15 kills and 13 digs and Leanna Metzger's 13 digs weren't enough to lift the Lady Jacks (2-2, 2-3 NFL), who fell 25-13, 25-15, 25-16 in the non-league matchup.

North Tonawanda 180, Niagara Falls 191 (F/6)

Medalist Devin Donohue shot a 2-over 26 to lead the Lumberjacks (2-4 NFL) to a shortened six-hole win after a late start. James Spanbauer equaled Donohue's 26 to pace the Wolverines (0-6 NFL).

Lew-Port 281, Ken West 286

Justin Quinn shot a 40 to earn medalist honors for the Lancers (3-4 NFL) and Joe Laurendi trailed his teammate close behind with a 42 in the league win.

Lockport 259, Nia.-Wheatfield 263

Brandon Le shot a 38 at Lockport Town and Country Club to earn medalist honors for the Lions (5-1 NFL). Alex Weaver and Ricky Eberheart followed with a 41 and 43, respectively. John Liberti led the Falcons (4-2 NFL) with a 41, and Zach Dubuc shot a 43.

Ken East 250, Grand Island 253

Mike Davern led the Bulldogs (7-0 NFL) with a 38 while teammates Ricky Shotwell and Zach Jakes added a pair of 39s in a league win at Brighton. Medalist Kevin Borowicz shot a 1-over 37 and Aaron Schauger and Tom Corrao added a 38 and 41, respectively, for the Vikings (3-2 NFL).

Starpoint 292, Alden 354

Medalist Andrew Murchison had a 36 and Jacob Kranz shot a 40 to help the Spartans (4-0 ECIC North Small) remain undefeated at Kissing Greens in Alden. Nick Larson also shot a 43 in the win.

Starpoint 4, W. Sen. West 1

Kristen Prohaska, Veronica Bellartini and sisters Liz and Jessica Wilson scored for the Spartans (4-3-1) in the non-league match.
