Player of the game

Angelo Crowell

Remember when this guy was a backup? Crowell finished with 12 solo tackles, two pass deflections and a huge forced fumble in an impressive performance. Crowell’s play at linebacker has been one of the season’s best-kept secrets. Honor roll mention to Anthony Thomas, who filled in capably in Willis McGahee’s absence.

Play of the game

Terrence McGee’s fumble recovery breathed life into the Bills just when they needed it, trailing 10-3 in the second quarter. After Crowell sprung the ball from Ben Utecht’s hands, the speedy McGee picked it off the turf and raced 61 yards into the end zone, diving sideways over the goalline.

Injury update

Willis McGahee (rib) and Josh Reed (kidney), did not play as expected, but Duke Preston (ankle) and Sam Aiken (hamstring), did play.
