The Castellani Columbus Square Park-Heritage Walk made its debut on Thursday night. According to the Pine Avenue Redevelopment Project, Chris Castellani, a longtime generous supporter and owner of Supermarket Liquors will donate $5,000 a year to maintain the Italian Heritage Park on the corner of 15th Street and Pine Avenue.

The Castellani Family was one of the original contributing families to build the park in the early 1990s.

“I feel honored to be able to contribute to the continued work and success of the Pine Avenue Redevelopment Project to make Pine Avenue a beacon of Niagara Falls,” Chris Castellani said in a release.
