Scott C. Hudson, of North Tonawanda, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to robbing a Red Apple, on Ruie Road, with a BB gun on May 18.
Hudson, 45, of Tremont Drive, stole cash from the North Tonawanda convenience store and fled the scene, disposing his BB gun, mask and a red hoodie he was wearing as he went, according to Assistant District Attorney Doreen Hoffman. He was arrested Aug. 16 after investigators identified him by testing DNA left on the discarded clothing and BB gun, Hoffman said.
Hudson was charged with second-degree robbery, criminal use of a firearm and third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Niagara County Court Judge Sara Sheldon set Hudson's bail at $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
