Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Niagara County Community College Wednesday to look into the bizarre and threatening behavior of a student.
College security officials said they had received five complaints — from two female students and three professors — about the actions of a 23-year-old student from Buffalo.
The reports that the security office received were about a strange behavior, ranging from mumbling, possible drug use, to an indirect threat being made against the school.
Deputies found the student and questioned him. The student stated that people were misinterpreting him and he is not a danger to himself or anyone else. P
Deputies could detect no signs he needed any mental commitment or evaluation.
The student said he would try to tone down the mumbling and not make any statements that could be perceived as a threat.
