Paul Reville, the Francis Keppel Professor of Practice of Educational Policy and Administration at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and former Massachusetts Secretary of Education, will speak as part of a Niagara University initiative on Monday.
According to a release, Reville will share strategies to help schools and communities partner to provide holistic, integrated systems of support that assist all students from cradle to career. His keynote presentation is part of a daylong conference to share evidence-based strategies to support teens, families, and educators who face the trauma and stress of poverty in their lives.
The event is co-sponsored by the Niagara University College of Education and the Niagara Falls City School District.
Reville will speak at 9 a.m. Monday at Niagara Falls High School Performing Arts Center, 4455 Porter Road, Niagara Falls.
The event also features a roundtable discussion featuring Niagara Falls School Superintendent Mark Laurrie and Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restaino at 10:30 a.m.
