• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 100 block of Hyde Park Boulevard. A 51-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday, someone broke into her apartment through a broken bedroom window. The victim said an Xbox 360 game system and several video games were taken.

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a van break-in in the 1200 block of Brandi drive. A 32-year-old woman told police that sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, someone broke into her 2008 Dodge Caravan by smashing a passenger side window. The victim said a GPS system was taken.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 2200 block of Cudaback Avenue. An 18-year-old woman told officers that sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday, someone broke into her apartment by kicking in the door. The victim said a painting, some clothing and some food was taken.

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a van break-in in a parking lot in the 6500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A 39-year-old Ohio man told police that sometime between 11 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Sunday, someone broke into his 2004 Chevy Astro van by punching out the driver’s side door lock. The victim said a GPS system, a portable PlayStation game system, a camcorder and a digital camera were taken.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 400 block of 27th Street. A 28-year-old woman told officers that sometime around 4:30 a.m. Sunday she discovered that someone had entered her apartment. The victim said a Philly blunt box, containing $240 and a pay check, was taken.

• ARREST: A Massachusetts man was arrested on trespassing and other charges. Francis Albert Connor, 21, 81 Rice Ave., Revere, Mass., was charged with trespassing and petit larceny. Police said a security officer at the Crowne Plaza hotel, in the 300 block of Third Street, found Connor in a kitchen area at 3 a.m. Sunday, eating a bag of potato chips.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on charges stemming from a car break-in. Edward D. Brundidge, 48, 2910 North Ave., was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Officers said they stopped a car that Brundidge was a passenger in at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at 20th Street and Forest Avenue. Brundidge had a car stereo system and two amplifiers in his possession. Police said Brundidge admitted to taking the items earlier from a car on LaSalle Avenue.

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1600 block of Niagara Avenue. A 27-year-old woman told police that sometime between 5 and 10:48 p.m. Saturday, someone broke into her apartment by kicking in a door. The victim said a portable PlayStation game system and $40 was taken.
