• STOLEN CAR: An Applewood Drive woman reported Monday that her mother’s 1996 Saturn had been stolen. The woman said she got into an accident with the car, causing damage to the radiator. As a result of the damage, the car was not able to be driven long distances. The woman parked the car outside her mother’s home on Ruhlmann Road. The woman and a friend were unable to get the keys out of the ignition, and so left the keys in the car and went inside. Between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., someone took the car from its parking spot. The car was entered into the system as stolen, and deputies were contacted by the Amherst Police Department, which had towed the car from I-990 as an unoccupied disabled vehicle.
