The owner of Western New York Mixed Martial Arts, 215 Walnut St., called police Wednesday morning to report a burglary that apparently happened overnight.

The suspects reportedly broke into the business by smashing a 12-inch by 12-inch window on a door on the building’s north side and then reaching in to unlock the dead bolt.

Once inside, they demolished a safe and took $400 in cash from inside, the police report said. The suspects also took a Dell laptop valued at about $1,000 and a Sony camera valued at about $675.

The damage to the door is estimated at $250, the report said. In all, the estimated loss to the business is $2,525.

Police took pictures of the scene and detectives were called in for fingerprint and evidence collection.
