The Niagara County Cancer Services program will schedule breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening for eligible uninsured residents.

A service of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, the program works with other Niagara County hospitals, health care providers and community-based organizations to reach the uninsured and underserved in our community to provide screening, diagnostic and case management services. Niagara County Cancer Services also distributes educational materials and hosts screening and outreach events.

Working together, providers will help eligible individuals diagnosed with breast, cervical, colorectal or prostate cancer obtain prompt, comprehensive treatment.

“The Niagara County Health Department did an exemplary job of overseeing this program for the past several years,” said Memorial Program Administrator Anne Passalugo. “We will look to build on their efforts to help uninsured individuals by working with our partners to promote education, early detection and screening on a countywide basis.”
