Three area men were indicted by a grand jury Monday on federal charges of dealing cocaine, heroin and fentanyl in Buffalo and Lockport.
Otis L. Lyons, Jr., 31, of Lockport, and Buffalo residents Bryheem Edwards, 28, and Dalvin Brant, 26, were charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and heroin, possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced Monday.
The charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and up to $1 million in fines.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Brendan T. Cullinane said the three engaged in the conspiracy from May 2018 until January. Lyons and Edwards allegedly distributed cocaine on May 17 and May 31, and Edwards and Brant were found in possession of fentanyl on Oct. 23.
