• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 2400 block of Weston Avenue. An 83-year-old man told officers that a male and female suspect broke into his home by forcing open a back door at 1 a.m. Sunday. The victim said the male suspect asked him, “Where is the money?” and “Do you have a gun?” After searching the house, the suspects left the residence. The victim said the suspects returned at 4 a.m. Sunday. After they left the second time, the victim noticed his 50-inch flatscreen TV, his house keys, his car keys and his 2008 Ford F-150 pickup truck were missing.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 200 block of 77th Street. A 62-year-old man told officers that sometime between 12:30 and 1:24 p.m. Sunday, two suspects, a male and a female, broke into his house by forcing open a back door. The victim said the pair took a radio from the residence.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 2:15 p.m. Sunday. Shannon Shard’e Works, 30, 9-C Packard Court, Apt. 1, was charged with petit larceny. She is accused of taking more than $124 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
