• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop in the 1300 block of North Avenue at 7:12 p.m. Sunday. Darreon D. Cauley, 21, 1618 15th St., was charged with reckless driving, third-degree fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to stop at a red light. While following Cauley's vehicle and prior to him finally stopping, police said they saw a wanted fugitive jump from the passenger-side of the vehicle and run into Jordan Gardens.


City of Lockport

• POSSESSION: John E. McDonald, 32, 5150 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, was charged on Dec. 1 with unlawful growing of cannibus and unlawful possession of marijuana after the Niagara County Drug Task Force completed a search warrant on March 6. Police said entry was made without incident through an open window. In searching the residence, a marijuana grow room containing 34 marijuana plants was found. The marijuana and other evidence were obtained by the DTF. A warrant was forwarded to court on May 21. He was found at a traffic accident by another law enforcement agency. He was detained in lieu of $250 police bail.

• UNLICENSED: Dominque N. Ferguson, 33, 1910 Whitney Avenue, Niagara Falls, was charged on Dec. 1 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation and a speed violation after a 3:26 a.m. traffic stop on South Transit Street. Radar showed her speed in a 30 mph zone at 46 and a records check showed that her license was suspended, according to the Lockport Police Department. She was detained in lieu of $250 police bail.
