To help local high school students learn more about the options available at Niagara University, the college has scheduled several events during the month of February.
On Feb. 15, students and parents interested in visiting campus for the first time, or those who want to take another look, are invited to attend Niagara University’s Open House/Revisit Day from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. The event will feature sessions with academic deans, tours of campus, lunch and the opportunity to meet with admissions staff.
On Feb. 22, Niagara is hosting two events from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. One, a STEM academic showcase, will highlight majors of study including biology, biotechnology, chemistry, environmental science, life sciences, mathematics and psychology. Students interested in these areas will be able to check out Niagara University’s state-of-the-art facilities; meet faculty, students, and distinguished alumni from the College of Arts and Sciences; learn about undergraduate research opportunities; take tours of the science building; and view live demonstrations. The other, the College of Business Administration Open House, will allow students to take an in-depth look into popular majors such as accounting, economics, marketing, finance, and management.
Each of these events is free to attend. Pre-registration is encouraged. To find out more information, and to register, visit www.niagara.edu or call 1-800-462-2111.
