Thomas A. Clark

Thomas A. Clark, of Newfane, NY, husband of the late Ruth Clark and Margaret Clark, entered into rest Sunday, May 2, 2010, in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane, NY. Thomas was born in Youngstown, NY, May 2, 1925, the son of the late Charles and Mabel Warner Clark. A US Coast Guard Veteran during WW II (1943-1946) as Radioman 3rd class, serving his country on the USS Owasco and USS Orlando. He worked for NYS Department of Transportation in supervision and foreman for many years. He had lived in the Newfane/Wilson area for the past 30 years. Member of Newfane Congregation of  Jehovah’s Witnesses and also was in the door to door Ministry. Thomas loved his pets and all animals. He also enjoyed Friday fish fry’s at the Wilson Fire   Company.

Father of Glenn Clark of Lewiston, NY. Step-father of Marjorie (Edward) Wilson of Tennessee, Wayne (Sharon) Wilcox of Florida and the late Jacqueline Ben and Ross Wilcox. Brother of his twin, Charles Clark of Ransomville, NY, Viola Clark of Niagara-on- the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, and the late George, Bonnie and Linda Clark. Also survived by three grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held THURSDAY at  11:00 AM in RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, 2670 Main St., Newfane. Burial will be in Oakland Rural Cemetery, Youngstown, NY.  Memorials to a charity of one’s choice would be  appreciated by the family.
