The Lord called home Terry E. Houseman, of Lyndonville, Friday morning, February 15, 2008.

Mr. Houseman was born in Medina, October 24, 1944, a son of the late Gerald and Dorothy (Tripp) Houseman. A graduate of Lyndonville High School, Class of 1962, and the State University of New York at Brockport, he taught in the Lyndonville Central School District for over thirty years. He was a past president of the Lyndonville Teacher's Association, a 50 year member of the Lyndonville Methodist Church, a former 4H Leader, enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, traveling and music.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Margaret (Nowak), whom he married on June 28, 1969; he was the devoted father of Andrew (Anne) Houseman of Boston, MA; brother of Craig Houseman of Medina, Cheryl (Lee) Hoffman of the State of Alabama and Gary (Linda) Houseman of Medina; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday (7-9) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina, where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. The Reverend Lyell K. Drake, pastor of the Yates Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will be in Lynhaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Medina Fire Department Ambulance.
