(Barre) - Roger D. Seelbinder, age 66, of Bragg School House Road, died October 3, 2007 in Medina Memorial Hospital, following a short illness. He was born November 18, 1940 in Medina to Robert and Helen (Baker) Seelbinder and was a lifetime resident of this area.

Roger was a owner/operator truck driver and was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed bird watching and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Seelbinder is survived by his wife of 26 years, Bonnie; his sons, Ronald Seelbinder of Medina, Christoper (Denise Arnold) Seelbinder of Alexander; his daughter, Holly (James) Klatt of Albion; step-children, Jerit VanAuker, Jr., Deanna VanAuker, Todd VanAuker; his brother, Robert Seelbinder of Middleport; sister, Lois Gillette of Oakfield; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Arnold and Lacey Kenward; life-long friends, Barb and Richard Dunham as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Avenue, Albion, MONDAY from 1-3 PM, where his funeral service will be held following calling hours at 3 PM. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., the American Heart Assoc., the Barre Fire Co. or COVA.
