Eviller (Harris) Curry, age 100, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away quietly on March 1, 2009 in the Deaconess Center, Buffalo, NY. Born November 1, 1908 in Graceville, FL. Ms. Curry was a very active member of the Niagara Community being a longtime member of the St. John AME Church in Niagara Falls, and also was a founding member and church mother of the Grace Calvary Baptist Church. Ms. Curry was active in street ministry evangelism and enjoyed socializing with family and friends, especially at the Niagara County Chat N' Chew programs. She was recognized as the oldest Niagara County resident in 2004. She was predeceased in death by her son, Willie Curry; and two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are one son, John (Barbara) Curry of Buffalo, NY; one daughter-in-law, Gertrude Curry of Niagara Falls; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation on Friday 11 AM in the Grace Calvary Church, 1601 Weston Ave. Funeral services at Noon. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
