Clarence L. Huffman, age 83, of North Tonawanda, died April 7, 2009 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Mr. Huffman was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran serving with the First Infantry in Germany; he had been awarded the Victory Medal, Bronze Star, Meritorious European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 4 bronze stars. Mr. Huffman retired from Durez after 38 years of service.

He was the husband of the late Lenore Huffman, who died in 2008. Beloved father of Marsha (Gene) Blackburn of Niagara Falls, NY, James (Joyce) Huffman and Loraine (Richard) Steingasser, both of North Tonawanda and the late William and John Huffman. Brother of Helen Hicks of California, Elaine Renwick and Jean Reilly, both of Pennsylvania, Grace Kuzmik and Clyde Huffman, both of Ohio, and the late Earl Huffman. Grandfather of 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangement by the Fretthold Funeral Home. If so desired, memorials may be made the Niagara Hospice.
