Audrey Parr of the Hearthside and Greenhills Village, State College died February 19, 2008.

Born on January 25, 1922 in Hamilton, Ontario Canada, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Maude Nicol. On August 5,1952 she married John C.H. Parr, who died August 25,1976.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rebekkah Lodge and the Second Presbyterian Church in Lockport, New York.

She enjoyed playing the piano and organ as well as sewing, knitting and embroidery work. For many years she worked at Briody's Nursing Home in Lockport retiring in 1984.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Nicol of Waterdown, Ontario, Canada; two daughters, Dorothy, and her husband, Ken Reid of Brockport, New York and Victoria and her husband, Martin Mazur of State College, Pennsylvania; three sons, John and his wife, Cyndi Parr of Marietta Georgia, Mitchell and his wife, Sherrill Parr of Longwood, Florida, Ian and his wife, Theresa Parr of Scottsdale, Arizona, and 13 grandchildren, Susan and Nicholas Reid, Andrew and Christina Mazur, Evan, Nathan, Matthew and Jonathan Parr, Ashley, Katherine and Caroline Parr, and Jacqueline and Donovan Parr.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Nicol, Jr..

A Memorial Service will be held at the Second Presbyterian Church in Lockport, New York, Saturday February 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
