Arthur J. Case passed on April 9, 2009. Friend, father, husband, confidant everyone who knows Art recognizes the man. Warm friendly smiles, sometimes easy conversations, sometimes hard ones, my dad, your dad, my friend, your friend was a part of our lives. Formed during the hard scrabble times of the past century his wisdom about life enabled all of us to better understand both of the great moments in life and the more difficult ones. Humor and grace coupled with the ability to speak plainly and frankly allows us to learn from him and leads us to the next moment better prepared. While there are many accomplishments that speak to the history of Art Case, later in life the comments most often heard speak of his smile and that people were positively touched by him. May everyone who ever met him know that he lived life fully. Thank you for being a part of his life and through that connection each and everyone one of us is richer and more complete. Art’s family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 4-7 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where prayers will be said 9 AM Monday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. John de LaSalle R.C. Church. The interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston.
