Annabelle (Harris) Zartman, formerly of Savannah Street, Niagara Falls, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 in Northgate Manor Health Care Facility. She was 93.

She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 23, 1915, a daughter of the late George and Bertha (Potter) Harris. She attended local schools.

Mrs. Zartman was a retired school bus driver for Niagara Wheatfield Central School District. She was a member of Niagara Presbyterian Church, the former Niagara Active Hose Ladies Auxiliary, holding various officers positions through the years. She enjoyed card playing, especially euchre.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Goodin (Barry) of the Town of Wheatfield; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Zartman of the Town of Niagara; two sisters, Mabel Ripley of Arizona and Jacqueline Conary of California; a sister-in-law, Helen Zartman of Niagara Falls; three grandchildren, Barry Goodin, Donald Zartman and Susan Goodin; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Eugene Zartman, Sr. in 1983; and her son, Donald E. Zartman, Jr. in 2008.

Friends may call Saturday from 2-5 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will follow the visitation at 5 PM, with the Rev. Robert Bellingham officiating. The interment will be private in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times or to Niagara Presbyterian Church.
