Public review set onstormwater report

The Town of Cambria will host a public meeting May 8 for residents’ input on its draft annual stormwater report.

The report highlights management practices in use by the town to prevent pollutants from entering municipal storm sewer systems and local waterways.

The town must file an annual report on its practices. It is a member of the Western New York Stormwater Coalition, which includes representatives from Erie and Niagara counties, 39 regulated municipalities and environmental consultants who meet regularly about shared projects in stormwater management.

The town meeting will be held at 8 p.m. May 8 at the town hall, 4160 Upper Mountain Road.

For more information about the draft report or the meeting, call Supervisor Wright Ellis, the town’s stormwater management officer, at 433-8523.
