BREAKING: NFHS football game off at Sal Maglie Stadium

Niagara Gazette — The high school football game between Niagara Falls High School and Lancaster has been called off at Sal Magle Stadium and will be moved to Lancaster Saturday evening.

The decision was made about an hour before the scheduled kickoff of 3 p.m. after Niagara Falls school officials determined that field conditions at Maglie were excessively wet, making the field unfit for play.

The game is being moved to Lancaster, with an expected start time "between 6 and 7 p.m." according to Niagara Falls athletics department officials.
