Dante Aversa scored the match's lone goal with two minutes left and Austin Barr earned a 6-save shutout for the Lancers (1-4, 1-2 NFL). Lockport fell to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in league.


Niagara Falls 5, O'Hara 0

Malorie Garabedian had a hat trick and Justin Perrault picked up the shutout in a non-league match for the Wolverines.

Hamburg 2, Starpoint 1 (F/2OT)

Brianna Becker nearly stole a win for the Spartans (0-4, 0-2 ECIC II), making 14 saves. Jessica Wilson scored, with an assist to Lexi Peters.


Archbishop Walsh 3, Niagara Catholic 1

Catia Bursino had three aces and three kills, Stephanie Male notched 10 aces and dished four assists, and Heather Murray added five aces and four assists for the Patriots, who lost 5-25, 25-23, 25-20 and 25-14.

Albion 3, Wilson 2

Allie Bubar had six kills and a 7-point service streak for the Lakewomen (1-2 N-O), who fell in dramatic fashion, 18-25, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23 and 26-24.

James Spanbauer Medalled with a 38 and David Yarger added a 40 for the Wolverines (0-1-1 NFL) in the rare tie at Sheridan Park Golf Course. Chuckie Panepinto led the Bulldogs (0-2-1) with a 40.

Ken East 233, North Tonawanda 258

Rickey Shotwell shot a 1-under 35 for the Bulldogs (2-0 NFL), while Zach Jakes and Adam Kroll each added a 38 at Brighton Park Golf Course. Devin Donohue medalled for the Lumberjacks (1-2), shooting a 3-under 33.


Starpoint 4, Sweet Home 0

Taylor Dispenza and Abby Fleming netted goals for the Spartans.


Grand Island 3, Ken East 2

Emilie-Jo Scheffler won the deciding point in second singles, defeating Sarah Crissy in three sets for the Vikings (1-2 NFL). Celina Wozniak won first singles for the Bulldogs (2-1).

Nia.-Wheatfield 4, Lew-Port 1

Lila Trunzo and Nicole Bworzanski won second and third doubles for the Falcons (2-1 NFL). Brittany Mezhir took first singles for the Lancers (1-2).

Lockport 4, Ken West 1

Delaney Portka and Delaney Fragale won singles matches for the Lions (2-1 NFL), while Audrey Filey won first singles for the Blue Devils (0-3).
