Bisons fall to Indy, 7-2

Niagara Gazette — Ricardo Ninita and Josh Thole hit home runs but the Buffalo Bisons trailed the game as early as the first inning and fell to the visiting Indianapolis Indians, 7-3.

There were some standout individual performances by the Herd. Ryan Goins went 2 for 4, with both his hits being doubles. Thole drove in two runs with his two hits. 

Brandon Crumpton (4-2) got the win for Indianapolis while Buffalo's Justin Germano (3-4) took the loss.

Alex Presley and Matt Hague homered for the Indians, who improved their record to 33-15 to remain 4.5 games in front of the International League West. The Bisons fell to 26-19 but remain tied for first in the IL North, sharing the lead with the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Both teams play again this evening beginning at 7:05 p.m.
