Bisons down Indians, 6-4

Niagara Gazette — INDIANAPOLIS — Luis Jiminez hit a RBI triple in the seventh inning that lifted the Buffalo Bisons over the Indianapolis Indians and snapped a two-game losing streak with a 6-4 win Thursday afternoon.

Buffalo's starting pitcher Ricky Romero struggled, allowing six walks and throwing 86 pitches in less than four innings work. However, the bullpen gave up a combined four hits and just one run while the Herd's bats came through when needed.

Buffalo (24-15 IL North) faces Indianapolis (29-13 IL West) this evening at 7:15 p.m. and then returns home to begin a homestand on Saturday against Charlotte.
