High school roundup: Starpoint softball remains unbeaten

The Vikings (4-2 NFL) took all five matches in singles and doubles play over the Bulldogs (2-4 NFL). GI's Collin McMahon and Tommy Corrao dominated in first doubles, beating KE's Justin Haeick and Nick Jurwiecz, 6-0, 6-3.

Ken West 3, Lockport 2

The Blue Devils (3-3 NFL) took all three singles matches, as Nick Atallah, Niko Mancuso and Radomir Pupozac all defeated their opponents in straight sets. Lockport (3-3 NFL) took both doubles matches.

Nichols 5, Niagara Catholic 0; Niagara Catholic 4, Park 1

The Patriots split their league double header, falling to undefeated Nichols before picking up a win against a winless Park team to improve to 2-3 this season. In the match against Park, Mike Grenga and Jake Socha took second doubles after Park forfeited. Due to state regulations, the doubles were played as pro sets.
