SABRES DOSE: Stafford sent back to Rochester

The Sabres sent forward Drew Stafford back to AHL Rochester on Monday, continuing the rookie’s frequent trips back and forth from the parent club.

Stafford has two goals and three assists in 13 games for the Sabres this season.

In 11 games with the Amerks, he’s registered five goals and four assists.

Rochester concludes a two-game set at Manitoba tonight, then hosts Syracuse on Friday.

The Sabres are in Tampa tonight to take on the Lightning, then face Florida on Thursday.
