SABRES: Paille gets call from Rochester


Apparently sick of double shifting to fill Andrew Peters’ spot on the fourth line, the Sabres called Daniel Paille up from Rochester prior to Monday’s game with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Paille, the team’s first-round draft choice in the 2002 draft, was third on the Amerks in scoring with three goals, 10 assists and 13 points in 15 games.

Peters, meanwhile, spent the night in the press box as a healthy scratch. He was averaging 2:18 of playing time over the last four games.
