Votes sought for NU hockey's Kohls

Niagara Gazette — Niagara University hockey is campaigning to get one of its players, Isaac Kohls, under consideration for the Hobey Baker Award, given yearly to the top player in U.S. College Hockey.

As part of the campaign, fans are encouraged to cast votes online at Fans may vote once every 24 hours until March 9. Fan voting helped Niagara goaltender Carsen Chubak earn a spot among the top ten finalists for the award. 

Kohls is currently one of 68 initial candidates. He currently leads the team in scoring with 16 points.

The 2014 Hobey Baker Award winner will be announced on April 11.
