Ransomville Speedway to honor Rinehart tonight

Niagara Gazette — Tonight’s scheduled racing card at Ransomville Speedway marks Harold Rinehart Poster Night, named in honor of the former Niagara Gazette employee who started the poster contest in 1983 and died of cancer in 1999.

Youngsters up to the age of 15 may draw posters that get them in free for tonight’s races. The posters will be judged, with awards for the top selections by age groups. Entrants will also be automatically eligible to win a drawing for a new bicycle.

The gates open at 6 p.m.
