Two bowlers just miss 300 at Rapids

Niagara Gazette — There were no reported 300 games from weekend play but there were a couple of close calls at Rapids Bowling Center.

Alan Nicolette rolled a 299 while taking part in the Scotty’s Barber Shop league at Rapids. Ed Lavery, bowling in the same league, rolled a 298 as part of an 855 series. Steve Kosut, meanwhile, rolled a 287.

Special mention goes to young Ryan Price, who rolled a 101 in the Tiny Tots league at Bowl-O-Drome.
