HOME TEAMS: Young runners go the mile in Lewiston

Niagara Gazette — The Lewiston Kiwanis and Lewiston Service Guild held their 18th annual Spring Fling One Mile Race for Kids on Sunday. Among the winners were Thomas Blakelock, who posted a time of 5:04, and Alexandra Whitney, who led all girls with a time of 5:36.

The other boys' winners, in their respective age categories, were Sam Hoover (under 5 years), Owen Sweeney (5-6), Alastair Sweeney (7-8), Justin Currie (9-10), Joshua Tribeault (11-12) and Nick Ortiz (13-14).

The girls' winners, in their respective age categories, were Isabelle Standish (under 5 years), Natalie Hoffman (5-6), Madelyn Fike (7-8), Jacelyn Fike (9-10), Keely Wagner (11-12), and Katelin White (13-14).
