Local Sports: Braves still unbeaten in PAL hoops

Niagara Gazette — The Braves improved their record to 3-0 in the Niagara PAL spring basketball league by defeating the Celtics, 74-58.

Darion Jackson led the Braves with 26 points while Jordan Rankin scored 15 for the winners. Jamel Burton led the Celtics (1-2) with 15 points while Breon Harris put in a 13-point performance.

In other action the Heat earned their first win of the season by defeating the Warriors, 66-45. Donald Handley led the Heat (1-2) with 16 points while Jermaine Miller added 11. For the Warriors (1-2), Tauzon Rose led in scoring with 15 points while Matt Hasely added 13.
