NU adds Maier to women's lacrosse staff

Niagara Gazette — Jill Maier has been hired as a new assistant coach for Niagara University's women's lacrosse team, the school announced.

Maier, a 2013 graduate of Hofstra University, was a four-year starter for her alma mater, appearing in 195 games, scoring 96 goals and 16 assists. At Hofstra, Maier earned her undergraduate degree in English with a concentration in American Literature and Early Childhood and Childhood Education.

A native of Honeoye Falls, Maier has held the head coaching position for the Lady Roc Lacrosse program since 2009, has trained to provide instruction to middle and high school level players and has served as a referee.
