Power lose holiday exhibition

Niagara Gazette — The Niagara Power spent their Independence Day holiday on the road in Elmira, where the host Pioneers of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League offered a less than hospitable experience on the field, routing Niagara by a score of 11-4.

Game statistics were not readily available. Being an exhibition game, neither the Pioneers nor Power had a box score available on their respective leagues’ websites or statistic services.

The Power return to NYCBL action tonight, hosting the Olean Oilers at Sal Maglie Stadium, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Power lost three games to the Oilers on the road earlier this week.
