Niagara Gazette — Ransomville Speedway hosted a special Tuesday evening show making up for a rainout earlier this season, kicking off three days of planned racing during the holiday week.
Phil Vigneri Jr. captured his very first 358 Modified win Tuesday in Mighty Taco Modified division, taking the early lead and holding it to the end. Rich Vinson finished second, followed by Tommy Flannagan. Ryan Susice came from ninth to finish fourth followed by points leader Erick Rudolph who rounded out the top five.
Ransomville's Kevin Wills notched his first win of the season in the Investor’s Services Sportsman division, claiming the early lead and holding it throughout the race. A late caution bunched up the field allowing Billy Coleman to challenge for the runner-up position.
Jaren Israel of Wilson captured his second win of 2013 in the Ki-Po Chevrolet Street Stock division. Israel took the lead away from Mike Short on lap two and held it through lap twenty.
Ransomville's Brett Senek took top honors for the second time this season in the Gippster’s Collision 4 Banger division.
Ransomville Speedway was hosting races Wednesday evening that were still in progress at press deadline and will host a regular card on Friday evening.
