Bowling: Three roll 800 series in local lanes

Niagara Gazette — Three local bowlers recorded 800-plus series in local league play in the past week, while one individual recorded his third 300 game of the season.

Two of the three 800 series came at Lewiston Event Center, where Tom Tedesco rolled an 811 in the Macri’s Italian Grille 3-Man league. The other series was rolled by Rob Samborek, who tallied up an 803 series in the Brickyard Mixed league.

Curt Noon, meanwhile, rolled a 300 game as part of his 827 series in the Scotty’s Barbershop 5-Man league at Rapids Bowling Center.

While Tedesco rolled his 811 series, Matt Passero recorded a 300 game in the same league. According to league officials it’s his third perfect game at Lewiston Event Center this season, which wraps up this week.

Also rolling 300 games in recent days were Ron Mack and Rob Klinger, both of them happening at Bowl-O-Drome in the Red Bull 5-Man and Zajac Funeral Home leagues, respectively.

Nate Johnson just missed a 300, finishing with a 299 in the Scotty’s Barbershop league at Rapids.
