Power rained out at Olean

Niagara Gazette — The Niagara Power and host Olean Oilers were rained out Wednesday evening, forcing the postponement of their scheduled game. 

That game will now be played as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, July 2, beginning at 1 p.m.

The Power and Oilers opened their series on Tuesday with Olean winning, 9-3. Niagara's record fell to 7-9 with the loss.

The same two teams, weather permitting, will face each other Thursday night at Sal Maglie Stadium, beginning at 7 p.m., on what is scheduled as "$1.00 Hot Dog Night."
