• Kathy Donner, Theone Oblamski, Barbara Baker and Gail Walker finished first overall in the ladies’ Wednesday 18-Hole league at Niagara Frontier Country Club. Finishing second place in the member-member/member-guest competition were Marie Olson, Margaret Mann, Sandra Stevens and Margie Bullis.

In the Tuesday night women’s 9-hole league at NFCC, Adele Berti was the weekly Flight A winner with a score of 34. Kathy Ruggerio scored a 43 to finish first in Flight B, while Marge Kirsch took the weekly honor in Flight C with her score of 42.

• Laura Scaletta was the Flight A winner in recent play at the Hyde Park Ladies 18-Hole Golf League, scoring a 73 in stroke play. Dorothy Gatto took Flight B honor with her score of 90 while Marie Esposito won the weekly Flight C competition with her score of 89.

In the weekly tournament, Lee Adriatico was the Flight A winner with her score of 47, while May Jowdy and Henrietta Ingham were the Flight B and C winners with scores of 51 and 64, respectively. Nancy Lo was the Flight A low putt leader with a score of 30, while Jowdy led Flight B with 36 and Ingham was the Flight C leader at 33.


• The BMP America team of Joe Lebold & Dan Krolewski defeated the Integrated Controls, Larry Lorenz and Sandro Viola, in two sets, 6-1, 6-0. In other competition, Niagara University (John Lorenz & Mike Mucci) defeated Synacor (Terry Knack and Tom O’Donnell), 6-3, 6-4. The Sammy’s team of Les Sniezek & Eric Scheffler were awarded a 2-1 default over Niagara Catholic (Will Whisker and Alex Nearhood) when a injury forced the Niagara Catholic team to withdraw.
