NCCC women's volleyball goes 1-2 Saturday

Niagara Gazette — Niagara County Community College played three competitive matches but finished the day going 1-2 at the Finger Lakes CC Pod on Saturday.

The Thunderwolves opened with a loss against Corning CC, playing four close sets but winning only one, 28-30, 24-26, 25-23, 27-29.

They next faced the hosts, Finger Lakes CC, and won in three straight sets, 25-23, 25-23, 25-20. Their final match went to five sets against Monroe CC, in which the Thunderwolves rallied from an 0-2 deficit but lost in the final set, 23-25, 21-25, 27-25, 25-21, 8-15.
