Local Soccer: FC Buffalo prepares to host archrivals Erie

Niagara Gazette — For those old enough to remember the Buffalo Bills' rivalry with the Miami Dolphins in the 1970s, part of the dislike was the fact Buffalo couldn't beat Miami until 1980. FC Buffalo welcomes an archrival Friday evening that has yet to lose to the Blitzers.

FC Buffalo hosts the Erie Admirals in a National Premier Soccer League match tonight, beginning at 7 p.m., at All-High Stadium in Buffalo. The Blitzers put a three-game winning streak on the line, but since their inception in 2010 have lost six times to the Admirals and drawn once.
