Connor Saeli scored the lone goal and Dwight Eagan was in net to record the shutout as the Quakers downed the Falcons, 3-0.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Division II Pre-Quarterfinals

4-Grand Island 3, 13-Ken East 0

Brock Tetreault had 23 kills and Kyle Burns recorded seven kills and three blocks to lead the Vikings to victory over the Bulldogs.

6-Will. East 3, 11-Nia.-Wheatfield 1

Alex Wherlin recorded 16 kills and Patrick Irving had 37 assists for the Flames as they beat the Falcons.

10-Lake Shore 3, 7-North Tonawanda 0

Devin Joslyn had 15 kills and eight blocks and Tyler Becker dished out nine kills and four blocks for the Eagles in their win over the Lumberjacks.

2-Eden 3, 15-Starpoint 0

Jake Schlegel dished out three aces and 27 assists and Hadyn Herc added 11 kills to help the Raiders down the Spartans.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Class AA Quarterfinals

3-Lockport 3, 6-Niagara Falls 0

Jordyn Kwoka recorded 15 assists and seven digs to lead the Lions to victory over the Wolverines.

1-Orchard Park 3, 8-Ken West 0

Kristen Stanek notched 16 kills and six aces to help the Quakers beat the Blue Devils.

Class A Quarterfinals

8-Will. North 3, 1-Nia.-Wheatfield 0

Lauren Schreiner had 21 kills and seven digs and Andrea Kiley notched 27 assists to help the Spartans down the Falcons.

10-Hamburg 3, 2-North Tonawanda 1

Gabby Hansen recorded 21 kills and 23 digs and Julie Milbrand had 10 kills for the Lumberjacks (14-3) as they fell to the Bulldogs.

The loss was sorely disappointing to the Lumberjacks, according to head coach Jessica Anderson.

“Our first goal was to win the NFL title, and we did that, but we just couldn’t put enough runs together to get a lead,” Anderson said. “We knew that Hamburg was going to be a tough matchup, but I’m proud of our team because we never quit. We battled hard all game long, but just couldn’t pull off the win.”

Class B Quarterfinals

9-Starpoint 3, 1-Springville 0

Hattie Lasal dished out 17 assists and Bri Foss added nine digs to lead the Spartans to victory over the Griffins.

Class C Quarterfinals

6-Wilson 3, 3-Falconer 0

Megan Dilawa notched seven kills, Allie Bubar had five kills and four aces and Emily Lasher chipped in with four aces as the Lakemen defeated the Golden Falcons.
