Massaro rolls first career 300-800

Niagara Gazette —

Dom Massaro, bowling in the second shift of the Macri's Italian Grille Three-Man league at the Lewiston Events Center, rolled his first career 800 series that included a 300 game. Massaro finished with an 824 series to highlight recent action on the local lanes.

Two other bowlers broke the 800 mark. D.J. Chapman went 276-279-280 to finish with an 835 in the Zajac's Funeral Home league at Bowl-O-Drome, while Keith McCabe bowled two games of 289 to finish with an 820 in the Sanborn Businessmen league at Rapids Bowling Center.

There were five other 300s rolled. Vince Capaldi (Niagara Monument Senior Mixed), Cory Piechowski and Tony Todaro (both Accurate Alignment and Break) each bowled perfect games at Rapids. Chris Pysniak (Mr. Ventry's Pizza) and Theresa Porter (Zajac's) rolled theirs at Bowl-O-Drome.
