Marty Brown set to lead Bisons

(Continued)

Niagara Gazette — ”I’m very exciting (to be a part of this staff),” Germano said. “We have guys who have been around and have experience out there, and we may not have guys who will overpower people, but we will throw strikes.”

The expectations in the world of AAA baseball aren’t always about winning first, but Brown said the Bisons will be very competitive.

”I think for the city of Buffalo, as well as Toronto — when we walk in the door every day we have a chance to compete and win, and we want to make sure we put our players in a position to succeed,” Brown said. “I think it’s my job on any given day to make sure that day in and day out, no matter what happened the day before, we can control right now and today, and I think our players are a good group (that) really sees that.”
