Local hospitals to play hockey for cancer research

Niagara Gazette — Local hospitals to play hockey for cancer research

Doctors, nurses and staff members from two area hospitals will take to the ice in a charity hockey game this Friday, March 21 to raise money for cancer research.

The teams from Mount St. Mary’s Hospital and Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will face off at Hyde Park Ice Pavilion beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Donations at the door will be encouraged and there will also be a 50/50 split draw. Proceeds from the event will benefit both Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research and Memorial radiologist Dr. David Ludwig’s upcoming fundraising run for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
