BOWLING: Bahleda comes close at Island Lanes

Niagara Gazette — Chris Bahleda just missed a 300 game while taking part in the Tuesday Men’s league at Island Lanes this week. He still finished the week with the honor score there. Also honored at Island Lanes was Steve O’Keefe, who in the same league rolled a 275 that put him 102 pins over his average.

Over at Rapids Bowling Center, three bowlers recorded 300 games. Phil Mitchell was perfect in the Niagara School Masters league, while Bob Peace and Brian Shaffer got theirs in the Accurate Alignment league.

No 800-plus series were recorded.
