NU hoops receives verbal

Niagara Gazette — Matt Scott, a 6-foot-3 guard from the Booklyn High School for Law and Technology, verbally committed to Niagara over the weekend according to various reports.

The wiry lefty has averaged 28.4 points, 11.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game over his senior season while spending time at all five positions. He also excels in the classroom as an honor roll student.

The Niagara athletic department is not allowed to comment on recruits until they've officially signed a National Letter of Intent. Recruits are eligible to sign April 16-May 21.
