Niagara PAL awards dinner this Sunday

Niagara Gazette — The Niagara Police Athletic League will honor 26 student-athletes from 13 area high schools at their 32nd annual Sports Award Dinner this Sunday, February 23, beginning at 4 p.m. at the Como Restaurant.

The students will represent diverse sports, including football, basketball, track and field, wrestling, baseball and softball just to name a few.

The Prep Athletes of the Year will be announced at the dinner. Also to be recognized will be the Male and Female Athletes of the Year, Sportsperson of the Year, the Mark "Chief" Williams awardee, UBMD/NFMMC Comeback Athletes of the Year and the Mr. & Mrs. Alan R. Elia Memorial Scholarship winners. 

Tickets for the dinner are $35 and can be purchased at the Niagara PAL, 4455 Porter Road in Niagara Falls, or at the Como Restaurant on the day of the event.
